Who could guess there would be serious snow on October 8th? Calgary airport was closed for a good hour. I had 3 flights (Calgary, Heathrow, and Shannon) and all 3 were delayed, though I did not miss any. And when I finally got to Shannon my bag did not. Aer Lingus was good at delivering it it the Half Barrel Bar in Castleisland – thank you Kathleen!
Up to Galway City where I squeezed in 3 sessions and a nightclub. After playing at The Salthouse, Tig Coili’s and An Pucan I met friend V at Roisin Dubh to watch an 8 piece blues band. Fabulous music by John Conneely Inc.
