Then Joe Herlihy took me on a cycle through the beautiful Kerry farmlands. Lots of hills ( huff, huff) but so beautiful. We cycled through the villages of Ballymcelligot & Clogher.
Topped of the day with a session in Browne’s, Castleisland, with Sean on guitar, Pat on flute, Joan Brosnan on box, Donal Cullinane on fiddle, Niamh Dalton on concertina, Michael Kelliher on melodeon, and Jimmy O’Sullivan (nephew of Eamonn O’Flynn) on banjo. The Tunes were flying and Donal contributed a great many slides and polkas.
